Dr. Ramon Navarro

Lead Pastor

I was born in Manila, Philippines, and came to saving faith in Jesus Christ in 1981 during a small Bible study led by American missionaries. Even as a young believer, I sensed God's call on my life to serve in ministry. My faith grew through the missions and ministries of the local church, which deeply shaped my spiritual journey.

During my college years, I became active in Campus Crusade for Christ and their Leadership Training Institute. I’ve always had a deep love for studying God’s Word, and in 1985, I was honored to win the Assemblies of God National Bible Quiz held in Cebu City. I went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City.

After passing the board exam in 1989 and becoming a licensed Civil Engineer, I began working in the software industry, which led to a career in Information Technology—and also led me to my wife, Guia. In 1993, I accepted a job in New Jersey as an IT professional, where Guia and I began our life together and raised our family for 13 wonderful years.

We moved to Colorado in 2006. Then, after a near-death experience in 2008, I could no longer ignore God’s call on my life. I began leading Bible studies, eventually serving the local church as a lay minister. I was ordained in 2013, and for three years, I served as CrossWind’s executive pastor while also working full-time in the corporate world. In January 2017, I was installed as the lead pastor. In 2020, I took a leap of faith and left my position as Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch to serve the Lord full time.

My theological training is through Southeast Asia Theological Schools (SEATS), where I earned both my Master of Ministry (M.Min.) and Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degrees.

Guia and I have been married for over 25 years and have two amazing sons, Josiah Emmanuel and Jeremiah Daniel. As a family, we are deeply blessed to serve together at CrossWind Church.

Shane Tanner

Social Media Consultant

Hi, I’m Shane, a husband, stepdad, tech guy, and follower of Jesus. I’ve worked in IT for over 25 years, specializing in technical support and helping people make sense of complex problems. I’m also deeply involved in ministry at Crosswind Church in Aurora Colorado, where I serve as the social media consultant and help lead digital strategy, content creation, and outreach efforts.

Outside of church and tech, I’m a passionate creative at heart. I love using media, design, and storytelling to make an impact — both in ministry and beyond. I also enjoy traveling and going on outdoor adventures with my family, finding joy in both service and shared experiences. I believe every gift God has given me is meant to be used for His glory.

I’m blessed to be married to the love of my life, Debby, and together we’re raising an amazing son, Justin. Our journey has been marked by grace, second chances, and countless answered prayers — and we know the best is still ahead.

Gary Vittorelli

Trauma Healing Group Facilitator

Hi, I’m Gary Vittorelli — a follower of Christ, proud New Yorker by birth, and now a grateful member of the Aurora, Colorado community. After undergoing gastric bypass surgery in December 2021, I’ve lost over 250 pounds — a journey that’s transformed not just my body, but my heart and perspective on life.

I was blessed to be married to my late wife for 26 wonderful years, and I carry her memory with me as I continue to live a life of purpose and service. For the past five years, I’ve been attending Crosswind Church, where I serve as an elder, usher, lay counselor, and trauma healing group facilitator.

My greatest passion is ministering to families in crisis and being the hands and feet of Jesus in my community. Whether it’s through prayer, listening, or just being present, I believe healing happens when we walk with people through their pain — just like Christ walks with us.

In my free time, you’ll probably find me cooking, watching a good movie, or cheering on my favorite football and hockey teams.
